Membership consists of four (4) classifications:

A regular member is an individual or corporation operating a repossession company, who is in good standing with the State of Illinois and meets all requirements as outlined in the State of Illinois statutes. In addition, a regular member must comply with all local ordinances governing the municipalities it serves. A regular member must successfully complete the Associations’ application process, comply with the Associations’ insurance requirements, adhere to the Associations’ Rules and Regulations, and is otherwise in good standing with the Association.

A charter member is a founding member and must meet all the criteria as a regular member. To maintain a charter membership, the charter member must maintain continuous, uninterrupted membership.

An affiliated/vendor member is any organization or entity providing goods or services to the recovery industry.

Application Fee: To be determined
An associate member is a non-owner, operator who is currently employed by a regular or charter member and is in good standing with the State of Illinois.

Application Fee: The application fee is to be submitted with the membership application form. Submit payment in two checks: One in the amount of $100.00, which is non-refundable if the application process is not completed for any reason; and one in the amount of $400.00.


Annual Renewal Fee: Annual fees are due on the second day of November. An invoice will be sent thirty days prior to the renewal date. If the annual fee is not received within sixty days after the renewal date, the membership will be automatically terminated. A member may be re-instated by completing a new application and paying an application fee equal to the annual renewal fee in addition to the annual renewal fee if paid within six months of the due date. Annual fees are non- refundable.
